Opportunities to Serve

Jesus fed the hungry and healed the sick as intentional acts of kindness and mercy. In doing so, Jesus also demonstrated His role as the Messiah, God in the flesh and Savior of the world. In the same way, every follower of Jesus is called to bless those in need MastersTable2with intentional acts of kindness and mercy to demonstrate the love of Christ and lead people to saving faith in Him.

Being a blessing simply means:

  • humbly pursuing and providing for those in need with the heart of Jesus Christ, in accordance with your calling and capacity
  • taking advantage of every opportunity to share your relationship with Jesus Christ, prayerfully partnering with God for their salvation

Serving is an essential part of growing in faith.  Jesus said: “……whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slaveMastersTable09 of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:43-45).

There are many opportunities to serve.  You may choose to serve within the All Saints Church community, in the wider communities of Hot Springs Village and Hot Springs, or in the even wider community of the world.
